Last night fifty or sixty of us celebrated the publication of Informal Learning with a party at the NextNow Collaboratory in Berkeley’s Strawberry Creek Design Center. Wine, music, great food, wonderful friends.
Many of the people featured in the book attended, among them Bob Horn, Etay Gafni, Claudia Welss, Elizabeth Doty, Verna Allee, Jerry Michalski, Brian Behlendorf, Bill Daul, Claudia L’Amoreaux, Clark Quinn, Eugene Kim, and Ted Cocheu. I am honored; I have learned a lot from these people.

Check the Slideshow of party pics.

The photos are by Austin Cross, Kristie Wells, and yours truly.

Christopher Peri and I talked about the one thing I might do differently next time: link to contributors and other friends over the net. Imagine standing in the middle of two-way, big-screen video conversations.

Congratulations again on your book. It looks like it was great party. I’m still waiting for my book from Amazon, but I’m told it will reach this far shore of North America sometime next week
