The January-February issue of Harvard Magazine has a roundup article entitled The Science of Happiness, Psychology explores humans at their best. If you’re unfamiliar with the work of Marty Seligman, Ellen Langer, Dan Gilbert, and other optimists in the field, you’ll find this worth reading. I’m a big believer: it worked for me. From a performance standpoint, happy people are more likely to please customers, be open to change, and work with enthusiasm.
